Our Humane Society
The Humane Society of Port Jervis/Deerpark
has served the Tri-State community for more than four decades.
Our Shelter was established in 1959 by
Robert Kleinstuber as a memorial to his wonderful
dog, Jeff.
Jeff's picture is encased in a bronze plaque on the
wall of our shelter office as a constant reminder of the dedication of a man who loved all animals.
Our shelter works every day for the protection and
welfare of all animals in need.
The Humane Society of Port Jervis/Deerpark has an
old-fashioned paper newsletter that is absolutely free for
the asking.
You can keep current on Shelter happenings,
events, success stories, tender and touching stories, uplifting letters from new adoptive "parents" and other things that are Humane Society oriented.
If you'd like to be on our mailing list, just e-mail us and you'll
receive the very next issue!
If you'd prefer not to get the paper version,
you can always view it online by going to our Home Page.
You will find the link on the box to the left of your
screen where it says "View Current Newsletter."
