BEN is our Featured Pet Of The Week!
Ben is a 4 year
old altered male
orange tabby. He
came to the
shelter with
two other cats,
Lil Buffy and
Precious, because
his owner passed
away. Ben is
probably the most
outgoing of the
three. They are
all housebroken.
They get along
great for
sharing such
small quarters.
Won't you please give
a shelter animal a home?
Some have been with us
way too long and need
a home environment to
begin to love again!
There are a lot of older dogs
coming into the shelter lately.
With the economy the way it is
people are giving up their pets
because they can no longer
afford to keep them.
Please adopt - never shop!!
Interested in this sweetie?
Please call 845-856-3677 ONLY
for more info...
the person who takes care
of the e-mail does not have up-to-the-minute knowledge
of the available pets or who just got adopted! Thank You!
We have chosen Kuranda dog beds
for our animal shelter
because they are so good for our dogs.
We still don't have enough for all of our kennels.
If you would like
to donate a bed so
another dog can sleep in proper comfort,

Help Us Celebrate Our 50th Anniversary!
We will be putting together a booklet and need your help!
If you have anything that will help us chronicle
our 50 years of service, please share them with us.
Photos, newspaper ads, old adoption papers, memories,
event programs, pet photos from the early days...
we would love to see them and possibly use them.
Please scan your images if possible and send them to Lynne.
Things can be dropped off at the shelter too but
make sure your contact info is included so we can
return these things to you.
Thanks so much!
Pet Food Needed!
We would be delighted if you could donate
dog and/or cat food in the near future!
We use dry, canned and pouch food
for our pets in residence so any
donation you may be able to give
would help us tremendously.
We are also seeking a household vacuum cleaner
with attachments in great working condition.
Thank you so much!!
Low Cost Spay/Neuter
For Cats AND Dogs!
We are currently offering spay/neuter surgery
for cats & dogs at our shelter's surgical facility.
Please call our shelter staff to learn about our
program, the surgical fee or to make an appointment.
Please get your cat spayed or neutered before they can
reproduce. Help control the pet population explosion
and help your cat have a long and healthy life!
Oh Happy Day!!!
Right now we are able to do a few more
surgeries sooner than we thought possible!
If you call very soon, your pet's surgery
might be scheduled earlier than you think!
So, don't hesitate - take advantage of this
wonderful opportunity to give your pet this
much needed surgery at an affordable fee.

We Now Have Videos!
We now have videos of our pets that are
up for adoption! This gives you a better
idea of how adorable the pets really are!
We ask that you call the shelter at
845-856-3677
to inquire if the pet that you are
interested in is still available.
If you have gently used clothing and/or
shoes please bring them to our shelter's
drop-off bin located in the parking lot right next to our building.
We get paid for each pound and can make a bit of
extra money for our animals with your donations.
According to the gentleman who picks up the donations,
the contents "are sorted into different categories then
it is shipped to countries like Africa, South America,
Thailand, etc. where the less fortunate cannot walk
into a store and buy new clothing."
Let's help them while helping our animals
with our donations of good sturdy items!
For further info, call us at 845-856-3677.
