These Are Just a Few Ways Your Donations Help...

Rescue Abandoned and Abused Animals Peaches came to us weighing barely 20 lbs. She had a chain around her neck that was so heavy she could barely keep her head up. She was terrified of everything, most of all of having someone harm her pups. Your donations helped us provide Peaches and puppies with much needed medical attention and nutrition! Peaches is just one example of the many animals you help through donations.	Help Cats & Kittens in Need Every year during Kitten Season, countless kitten litters are left at our doorstep, found abandoned or are simply surrendered with or without their mothers. Most of these litters require medical attention and special food and nutrients to ensure their survival. All kittens are tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered, and receive age-appropriate vaccines before they are adopted. Your donations help us care for them and nurse them back to health!	Dog Training & Behavior Modification Although most of the training done with our dogs awaiting new homes is done by volunteers at no cost to the Humane Society, from time to time we must pay a professional dog trainer to assess and/or provide behavior modification for some of our more challenging dogs. All of that training is provided thanks to you and your donations.
Make Adoption Events Possible Each time we load up our van to attend an event, we have you to thank. Your donations make it possible for our van to have gas, be insured and to have all the equipment possible to safely transport our animals so they can find their forever homes.	Provide Veterinary Care to All Pets We want to make sure our customers are adopting a healthy pet. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on necessary age-appropriate vaccines. Some pets require much more extensive veterinary care than others and your donations make that possible.	Keep Our Facility Running Our facility is home to many abandoned and abused animals, and like your home they require constant upkeep! It costs approximately $1,000 per day to run our facility. Without your donations, we would have to shut our doors, leaving no where for homeless animals to seek refuge during their greatest time of need. Your donations make this possible 365 days a year!
